  • June 16, 2016: “Meet the Funder 2016” with corporate funders Dana Neshe (Middlesex Savings Bank), Eric Morse (Needham Bank). Stephanie Kenney (Bose Corporation), and Emily McCann (Staples).
  • May 18, 2016: “The ABCs of Annual Appeals.”  Tina Cincotti, Funding Change founder, shared the secrets for an annual appeal campaign that gets results. Attendees learned principles of donor communications, the importance of your opener, why you need to ask early and often, how to articulate the benefits of giving, and more!
  • November 12 and November 13, 2015: “How to Build a Board That Works.” Andy Robinson, nationally known nonprofit expert presented the same workshop twice to board chairs, other board leaders, and executive directors! Using interactive activities, Andy covered:
    • Roles and responsibilities of board members
    • Finding and filling the gaps on your board
    • Creating and using a board “job description”
    • Holding effective meetings
    • Encouraging board turnover and bringing in new blood
  • September 24, 2015: “How to Promote Your Annual Appeal with Social Media.” John Haydon, one of the top online marketing and fundraising experts, showed us, step by step, how to promote our fundraising campaigns with Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Attendees learned which social channels are best to reach their unique audience, how to turn event registrars into event promoters and how to create a content marketing plan for their fundraising campaign.
