Small nonprofits face grant challenges that larger, better-resourced organizations often do not. Limited staff capacity, frequent grant declines, uncertainty about foundation outreach, and the challenge of building sustainable grant systems can make fundraising feel frustrating and unpredictable. In this lunch and learn, we’ll explore why these challenges exist and introduce a four-part grants strategy framework designed specifically for small nonprofits. Participants will leave with practical strategies they can begin applying immediately, including how to:
- Build a focused grants strategy that aligns with organizational priorities.
- Identify and prioritize the right foundation funders.
- Communicate their organization’s impact through a compelling Case for Support.
- Create simple systems that make grant fundraising more sustainable over time.
