MCDC’s programs build stronger communities by increasing opportunities and skills of asset-poor, vulnerable residents so they can build and utilize financial assets wisely, reduce their dependence on public supports, increase their income through work if possible, and increase their wellness. Participants achieve more self-sufficiency by embracing new understanding, skills, and habits that can endure for their lifetime.
