The “Lone Rangers” brings together nonprofit leaders from a diverse mix of single-staffed or small-staffed organizations in a casual, yet confidential, environment to share issues and exchange ideas. The result is a unique peer learning experience. It’s a perfect opportunity for you to ask questions, share information and strategies, and network and support one another.
The informal facilitated group meets for coffee and conversation on the third Wednesday of each month and offers a sense of community that diminishes the isolation that “lone rangers” sometimes feel, especially in a climate of growing demands and shrinking resources. Lone Rangers include Executive Directors and other staff members, board members, and leaders of all-volunteer organizations.
New relationships with peers who can share challenges and successes create a network of mutual support with others who understand the ups and downs of helping a small nonprofit succeed.
Topics vary from fundraising and fiduciary responsibilities to strategic plans and board issues. The agenda is driven by attendees.
