MetroWest Nonprofit Network Names Patricia Leary as Associate Director

The MetroWest Nonprofit Network is excited to announce the hire of Patricia Leary as the new MWNN Associate Director. This new role marks an important step forward for MWNN as we continue to grow, deepen our impact, and strengthen support for nonprofit leaders and organizations across the MetroWest region. Patricia’s leadership will help advance MWNN’s mission of connection, learning, and collaboration throughout the nonprofit community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Patricia to the MWNN team,” said Leah Parker-Moldover, Executive Director. “She brings experience across nonprofit management, public policy, community organizing, and fundraising, along with a deep commitment to equity, collaboration, and community-driven impact. Patricia’s leadership and expertise will strengthen our ability to support and connect nonprofits.”

Patricia brings almost 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and public service sectors, having held leadership roles at organizations including the Worcester Education Collaborative, United Way of Central Massachusetts, the American Heart Association, and the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. Patricia serves on the Board of Directors of YWCA Central Massachusetts and is actively engaged with the Greater Worcester Community Foundation. Her work has spanned youth development, advocacy, fundraising, and cross-sector collaboration, with a consistent focus on building strong communities.

“Patricia comes to MWNN with a skill set that is both broad and deeply practical, having sharpened her strategic and operational skills at a wide range of organizations. Her background reflects the depth and diversity of talent that we have here in the region,” said Kate Baker, Board Chair. “Patricia’s approachable, collaborative style will further strengthen the fabric of the nonprofit ecosystem here in Metrowest.”

A graduate of MWNN’s 2025 Certificate in Nonprofit Management, Patricia joins the staff with a deep understanding of MWNN’s mission and the needs of nonprofit leaders in the region. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Community Development and Planning from Clark University in Worcester.

“I am excited to join MWNN as Associate Director,” said Patricia. “As a graduate of MWNN’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management, I have experienced firsthand the power of MWNN’s community and programming. I am excited to contribute to an organization that so clearly champions nonprofit professionals and strengthens the sector through connection, learning, and shared leadership.”
