Basics and Beyond – 2019
OVERVIEW:
This one day workshop for small-to-medium new and established nonprofits will cover how to build sustainable and strong organizations. This is a great opportunity for directors, board members and volunteer leaders to learn together!

• Board Governance – Roles and reponsibilites: Who, What, When and Why?
• Legal – Fundraising and Compliance: Looking through a legal lens
• Financial management – How to build, manage and monitor a strategic budget
• Fundraising – Planning for success: Fundraising and Donor Relations
Attendees left with a binder filled with practical, actionable information and had the opportunity to chat with local nonprofit leaders at our interactive and informal Lunch and Learn.
Basics and Beyond – 2018
The 2018 Basics and Beyond Bootcamp was a resounding success! Over 40 individuals representing 22 MetroWest nonprofit organizations spent the day learning from experts in nonprofit governance, law, fundraising, finances, insurance and each other! We are so grateful for the generosity of our sponsors Framingham State University, Avidia Bank, and Wegmans as well as the Middlesex Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, MetroWest Health Foundation and Sudbury Foundation.
