Let’s Talk About… Launching MWConnects.org!

What if we had a online tool where every nonprofit in MetroWest could be listed in one place? What if volunteers, donors, and funders could find ways they can help you and provide what you need to be successful in meeting your mission? What if other nonprofits who are sharing similar missions could find each other and build collaborations that strengthen everyone?
This Wednesday’s Lunch and Learn will be a very special one for MWNN. We are so pleased to invite you to be the first to preview the launch of a new website called MWCONNECTS.ORG

MWConnects.org has been developed in partnership with the Mass Service Alliance and Inspiring Service . MWNN will serve as the host organization. This free new online tool has been designed to specifically assist MW nonprofits during COVID-19 as well as be an important tool for nonprofits into the future.

Organizations added to the site will be able to Share Impact Stories & Data; Raise Funds; and Recruit Volunteers. Visitors to the site will be able to find:

• Stories of COVID-19 impact
• Ways to Help
• Ways to Give (campaigns and/or direct donations)
• Items Needed Now
• Data on Impact
• Updated and current organization profiles combining all the above in one place

On Wednesday we will be joined by Tim Thomas, Chief National Relationship Manager for Inspiring Service and Catherine Andrews of Cincinnati Cares . Tim and Catherine have been working with us for the last three months to create a platform that is user friendly, accessible and responsive to the needs of MW nonprofits. Both bring extensive experience to this project and lots of patience! Tim and Catherine will join us to discuss:·       Overview of the online tool·       Setting up your organizations account·       Editing and managing your information·       Questions and Answers, Tips, Tools·       Future possibilities*We added some organizations to the site just to get started.
