February 9th: Lunch and Learn from 12:30 – 1:30 pm

Let’s talk about food security in our communities

During the COVID 19 pandemic food insecurity in Massachusetts increased 55% from 2019 to 2020. Reflecting national data, food insecurity rates during the pandemic were highest among adults with children and people of color. Join us for a conversation with Kali Coughlan, MetroWest Moves Coordinator for the Town of Hudson and facilitator of the newly launched MW Food Collaborative, and Christa Mayfield, Manager of SNAP programming for the Greater Boston Food Bank to learn about local and statewide efforts to strengthen the local food system and what nonprofits in MetroWest can do to support access to healthy food in our communities.
