MetroWest Free Medical Program serves as an entry point to the health care system for those who are uninsured or insufficiently insured by meeting patients’ immediate healthcare needs and connecting them to other health resources.
About
Founded in 2005, the MetroWest Free Medical Program offers general and specialty care during evening clinics. In over 16 years of operation, the Clinic’s part-time staff and 250+ volunteers, including Spanish and Portuguese interpreters, have provided care to over 10,000 patients. MetroWest Free Medical Program is proud to have attained the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics 2020 Standards Gold Rating.
Support
Our volunteers provide direct patient care in the areas of adult medicine, women's health, and vision. Volunteers also help with medical charts and administration of our clinics.
