About
Plugged In is a non-profit band program that teaches youth how to be in a rock band and about using their music to better the world. Plugged In brings young people together, teaches them the importance of using their music to make positive change in the world, and helps them gain the confidence to do so. Through the creative and nurturing environment provided by the Plugged In program, students feel safe taking risks resulting in artistic growth and increased self-confidence.

Plugged In envisions a volunteer program that works like a favorite band, composed of a diverse, trained, and committed group of volunteers that is forward-facing, visible to, and embraced by our entire community. Our volunteer program will model Plugged In’s philanthropic mission while supporting the continued growth of our community and the expanded reach of our programming.
